How these capabilities fit together

Computational analysis relates sequence information to structural possibility and is used to frame a research question. Molecular characterization and cell-based research then examine behaviour under defined conditions, in a biological context rather than in isolation.

Evaluation work is at a research and preclinical stage. Findings are treated as provisional, and research records are kept so that an observation can be traced back to the conditions that produced it.

What this page does not describe. We do not publish the software, instruments, assays, protocols, conditions, materials or results behind these capabilities. That detail stays inside the research programme, and its absence here is deliberate rather than incidental.

We describe our areas of research at a high level. Research-stage detail — including molecular designs, materials, methods and results — is not published.

Careful language

We aim to be precise about what is established and what is not. Where a question is unresolved, we describe it as unresolved.
